1. Compare places
Open the time-zone converter and choose Add Place. Search for a city or country, then select the correct city or region. Drag rows to reorder them, or use the row's move controls. Select a reference city to anchor the date and time controls.
2. Choose the date before the time
Use the date selector, then type a time or move the timeline. Every city shows the same instant. The local date can be different in another city. A future meeting should use its actual date so seasonal clock changes are included.
3. Find shared working hours
Choose Adjust Hours to set workdays and hours. The highlighted overlap comes from those preferences. It does not check real calendars. When there is no overlap, consider the suggested compromises and confirm them with the people involved.
4. Turn time slots into a message
In Time slots, choose your source city and their destination city. Try 8 am or 9 am IST on 22 October 2026 in California. The reply uses the destination's actual date and seasonal abbreviation. Copy the message, or show a slot on the timeline.
For that example, California's slots are 7:30 pm and 8:30 pm PDT on Wednesday, 21 October 2026. In winter the same local India times can produce different Pacific times. Use a city, not an ambiguous abbreviation such as CST.
5. Create an invite draft
Choose Create invite. Try Set up time with alex@example.com on 22 October 2026 at 5 pm IST for 30 minutes. Check and edit the title, guests, date, time and duration. After changing a field, select Update preview. Review in Google Calendar opens a draft for you to save; Download .ics creates an importable file without emailing guests.
6. Check ambiguous times
A weekday without a date means its next occurrence, including today, in the source city. Always check the displayed date. Specify am or pm when needed. The scheduling interface rejects a time skipped by a clock change and asks you to choose between two occurrences when an hour repeats. The timeline can move a skipped time to the next valid minute and labels the adjustment.
7. Share the comparison
Use Share for a link containing the selected cities, order, working hours and exact moment. Copy Table gives you plain text to paste. Shared links can expose those comparison details to anyone who receives them. See the Privacy Policy.
Current limits
Scheduling supports practical English date and time phrases, up to eight slots, and one source and one destination per message. It is not a general-purpose AI chat. Recurring meetings should be completed in your calendar. Supported dates run from 2020 through 2035. Newly announced government time-zone changes require an updated rules release.
